Engineering Documentation Pack
ECR/ECN control, SOPs, work instructions, process sheets, routings and tooling requests.
NCR, CAPA, 5-Why, fishbone, FAI, and the inspection and calibration records behind them.
The quality paperwork a customer or an auditor asks for, and that most shops assemble in a hurry the week before. First article, in-process and final inspection; non-conformance and corrective action with 5-Why and fishbone worksheets behind them; a calibration register, a defect Pareto tracker, an NCR log and a customer complaint log.
Each form is laid out to be filled in by hand on the floor and to be read by an auditor afterwards. Those are not the same requirement, and it is where most downloadable forms fall down.
The logs matter as much as the forms: an NCR you cannot count is an NCR you cannot improve.
Forms cannot be certified — a management system is. These are built to support the clauses an auditor asks about; your system is what gets certified.
